Youth Justice Support Worker - Scarborough
Band 9 SCP25 (£22,213 p.a.)
Full Time 37hrs per week (some evening & weekend
Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2017
Our support workers carry out direct work with young
people. This includes a wide range of activities,
some of which involves evening and weekend work.
Support workers are responsible for delivery of
structured offending behaviour work, sport and
constructive leisure, family and peer relationships,
assisting reparation, supporting education,
accompanying young people during visits to Police
stations and courts etc.
YJS Support Workers enjoy a busy, varied and active
pace, with opportunities to be involved in a wide
range of interesting and rewarding activity. The
role requires good organisational skills, and the
ability to form positive, influential relationships
with challenging young people.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and
access to a car for work purposes, and will be
subject to enhanced CRB Clearance. To apply for
